For potential new brothers, our Lambda Tau Alumni Chapter is a perfect starting point to begin your journey in joining the brotherhood of Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity Inc. Membership is open to all gentlemen, regardless of race, culture or creed.

If you are a post-baccalaureate gentleman interested in joining a lifelong brotherhood, Lambda Theta Phi may be for you! We are committed to fostering an atmosphere that promotes friendships, educational, political and cultural advancement, as well as personal and professional development. Our members are unique and come from all walks of life and yet we all share the bond of brotherhood.

The Lambda Tau Alumni Chapter experience and involvement in Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity Inc, on both the local and national level - are essential ingredients in the successful operation of our organization.

Eligibility for Alumni Chapter Membership - Applicant requirements:

Any gentleman holder of an earned baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university may petition for membership through an alumni chapter provided that he:

  • Graduated in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 grade point scale*

  • Is of good character (Provide a Certificate of Conduct from your local police department);

  • Is registered to vote, if eligible and qualified; and

  • Is sponsored by a member in good standing from the alumni chapter from which the candidate is seeking membership.

  • Is not a current member of another fraternal organization* or North-American Interfraternity Conference organization.

*Note: exceptions could be made for members of honors/scholastic/professional/music fraternities
